On July 8, 2019, the city of Louisville was shaken by the tragic death of 27-year-old Brian Lamont Owsley Jr. Known affectionately as "Big O," Brian was a cherished member of his community, remembered for his warm personality and dedication to his family. His untimely death left a void that continues to be felt by those who knew him.

The Fateful Evening on Cane Run Road

The events leading to Brian's death unfolded on a Monday evening outside a recording studio located at 4501 Cane Run Road. Around 6:15 p.m., residents in the vicinity reported hearing over a dozen gunshots. Upon arrival, authorities discovered Brian in the parking lot, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
