A Routine Morning Turns Tragic
In the early hours of October 6, 1995, the city of Chandler, Arizona, awoke to a tragedy that remains unresolved to this day. Martin Zarco, a 26-year-old employee of Coca-Cola, was following his usual routine, preparing for his workday. Between 3:00 and 4:30 a.m., while seated in his red and white 1984 Chevy S-10 pickup truck, Martin awaited the delivery of products to a local supermarket. This seemingly ordinary morning took a fatal turn when Martin was discovered shot in the head, his life abruptly and violently ended.
The Crime Scene
The murder occurred in an empty parking lot behind a discount supermarket located on Warner Road, just west of Arizona Avenue.
