In the early hours of August 30, 2010, the quiet of North Long Beach was shattered by a gruesome discovery. At approximately 6:30 a.m., a passerby found the lifeless body of 27-year-old Heather Nicole Broadus lying face down on the sidewalk in the 300 block of East 56th Street.
