On the morning of April 7, 2016, a passerby made a grim discovery in an alley near 31st Street and River Park Drive in Louisville, Kentucky. The unclothed body of 33-year-old Angela Martin was found near the railroad tracks, a scene that would soon become the focus of a homicide investigation. Authorities were alerted around 9:30 a.m., and upon arrival, they determined that Martin had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head and neck.
