On September 8, 2012, the city of Louisville, Kentucky, was shaken by the untimely death of 22-year-old Kentrail Lee'Shawn "Ramco" Robbins. Around 7 p.m. on that Saturday evening, Louisville Metro Police responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of 28th Street and Grand Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Robbins lying in the doorway of a barbershop, bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses recounted that a man exited a vehicle and opened fire on Robbins before fleeing the scene. Despite being rushed to University Hospital, Robbins succumbed to his injuries.
