On the evening of November 30, 2019, the tranquility of the 2800 block of Shipley Terrace SE in Washington, D.C., was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 7:56 p.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District responded to reports of a shooting in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old DeAngelo Ross suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
