Charles "Man" Cowherd, a 34-year-old resident of Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically shot and killed on June 17, 2016, near the intersection of Standard Avenue and 23rd Street. His untimely death left a void in the lives of his family and friends, who remember him as a devoted father and husband.

Charles was a loving father to seven children: Takia, Charles Jr., JaRon, Charion, Olexus, Nairobi, and Richard Jr. His wife, Nicole Cowherd, described him as a dedicated family man who cherished spending time with his children.
