He is also known to have an interest in exotic plants. At the time of the abduction, he was 33 years old.
A felony warrant for kidnapping was issued for Sergio on December 12, 1991. Subsequently, on October 27, 1993, the FBI issued a warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. These legal actions underscore the seriousness of the case and the ongoing efforts to locate both Sergio and Marcus.
