The Night of the Fire
On February 19, 2005, a devastating fire engulfed the Parrish residence at 811 S. Bell Street in Kokomo, Indiana. Amy Parrish, 25, her sons Dacota Rasmussen, 4, and Caleb Parrish, 2, along with her stepson Casey Parrish, 11, were all asleep when the blaze broke out. Tragically, they were unable to escape and succumbed to smoke inhalation. The sole survivor, Michael Parrish, Amy's husband, managed to escape by breaking a window and falling two stories to the ground.
Investigation and Findings
Authorities quickly determined that the fire was intentionally set, classifying the deaths as homicides. Investigators found evidence of an accelerant at the scene, indicating arson. Despite extensive efforts, no suspects have been identified, and the case remains unsolved. ...Read More
