Kerry, a recent graduate of Boys Republic High School in Chino Hills, was known for his bright smile and sense of humor. His grandmother, Anita Wills, expressed the family's devastation, highlighting the profound loss of a young man who held immense promise.
The Night of the Tragedy
According to reports, Kerry was with his girlfriend near San Antonio Park when they were approached by two African American males. The assailants demanded money and then instructed Kerry to run. He was chased around the corner and fatally shot in front of St. Anthony's Church.
