On November 8, 2017, the city of Birmingham, Alabama, was shaken by the tragic death of 15-year-old Miracle Sade Johnson McNeil. Born on June 23, 2002, in Selma, Alabama, Miracle was a vibrant young girl with a promising future ahead of her. Her life was abruptly ended when a stray bullet pierced the walls of her home, striking her while she was inside. This senseless act of violence not only took a young life but also left a family and community in mourning.

The Tragic Incident
