Decedent found in remote desert canyon used by border-crossers, he appeared to have fallen down the canyon; decedent had two gallons of water in plastic jugs nearby; decedent carried a paper in his pocket with telephone numbers and the name "Pepe" written on it. Recent match in AFIS under the name Juan Rosales Medina. This name has not been verified. Per US CBP, decedent claimed Mexican (Veracruz) citizenship.
