On 03/31/2005, geological surveyors were at the incident location when they discovered the decedent's skull lying in the desert area. Responding detectives searched the area and recovered additional bones and bone fragments in an approximate one-acre area. On 06/28/2005, geological surveyors found additional bones that were later linked to the ones recovered originally.
