On April 19, 2008 at 1350 hours, while performing a welfare check requested by a friend of the decedent, an officer with the Carlsbad Police Department found the decedent on the floor, unresponsive and not breathing.
This decedent remains unidentified as it appears that he was an identity thief. He was last residing in the city of Carlsbad under the name of James Brown. His extensive criminal record includes many aliases.
