The remains were discovered while material from the Dumbarton bridge excavation site in Menlo Park was being sorted through at the Ferma Corporation dump site on Crittenton Road in Mountain View. The material from the Dumbarton bridge excavation may have been on a barge for several days or a week prior to being transported to the Ferma Corporation dump site. Estimated post-mortem interval 6 months to 2 years.
