Victim found inside a sleeping bag in a small thicket in a tilled farm field approximately 20 feet from the roadway. The site is about 2 miles from a 2-lane state highway, Illinois Route 148, adjacent to an underground coal mine and the Rend Lake Hunting & Wildlife access area.
