A hiker found partial skeletal remains in the remote desert. Recent (2022) DNA match to a man who was apprehended by USBP nine times under the names Samuel Dominguez Juarez, Jorge Dominguez Errera, Gerardo Otero Mendez, and Javier Lopez Meza. His last apprehension was 30 October 2009.
