The decedent was a male who is believed to have been in his late 30s whose marital status and residency are unknown. On 01/15/2020, US Customs and Border Patrol Agents located the decedent's body in the area of Mount Laguna. On 01/22/2020, personnel from San Diego Sheriff's Aerial Support to Regional Enforcement Agencies (ASTREA) Unit 4 recovered the decedent's body.
