The decedent was seen at a rest area located along I-25, by a Highway Department employee, at about 1000 on 7/2/89. The same employee saw her at about 1400 sleeping on a picnic table. At approximately 1100 on 7/3/1989 the same employee found the decedent lying on the ground next to the picnic table, unresponsive. "Jenifer Barnes" is an alias for the decedent.

    The hair is long, brown, with streaks of gray. It was kept in a long braid on the crown of her head tied with black yarn in a bow. The braid itself is measuring 90 cm in length.

    • Clothing: Worn, black sweatpants and a pair of "BRUTE" brand red, gray, and white patterned underwear.

    • Other: Her fingernails were pained with a pearlescent nail polish. Her toenails were painted with pink nail polish.
    • Other: Two large garbage bags full of clothing and personal items were found with next to her.
