The body, which was a full-term Caucasian male with umbilical cord attached and afterbirth present, was found wrapped in a bloody sheet on a hillside at South Leonard Street and Riverview Boulevard, Sioux City, IA. The death was ruled a homicide with exposure as the cause: “After performing an autopsy, the medical examiner said there was evidence the baby – a boy – had been healthy and that his lungs had functioned.”
