On August 26, 2019, a human scapula was discovered near the Delaware River in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Pennsylvania. The bone was discovered while responding to the scene where a human mandible was discovered. The mandible was subsequently identified, but the scapula remained unidentified. Anthropological analysis assessed this individual to be an adult of unknown sex or ancestry.
