Cranium found in 1983 (exact date unknown), which at the time was believed to be archaeological and transferred to the physical anthropologist for proper repatriation. In 1996 it was determined the cranium was not archaeological and returned to the Island County Coroner's Office on December 24th, 1995. Then in September 2024 the cranium was submitted to the Anthropology Department at the King County Medical Examiner's Office for assistance with identification.
