On 11/4/1989, around 0755 hours, two brothers were hunting quail east of snow creek village in the desert. One was walking east along the crest of the hill and found a human skull. They went to the Whitewater rest stop and placed a 911 call. Law enforcement responded and searched the area, but no additional remains were found.
