A human skull was recovered from the bank of the Arkansas River in Chapin Park, Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. A survey was conducted in the immediate area as well as upstream and downstream in the river, since the scene suggested that the skull floated in the river for some time starting upstream from the area of the skull discovery.
