On 1/28/2025, possible human skeletal remains were located near the above location in the woods. The area is a hunting ground and the remains were located by hunters who called LE. LME advised part of a skull, a femur, a rib, and a mandible with 4 molars and 2 canines were located. Deteriorated clothing was also located near the remains. SBI collected the mandible so animals could not take it. The remaining bones were left on scene and SBI and Caswell CSO will be returning 1/29/2025 to survey the area and collect them.
