On Friday, April 12, 2024, Barstow Fire Department responded to a call regarding a vehicle fire in the OHV area northease of Outlet Center Drive and NB Interstate 15 freeway. They arrived on scene to find a fully engulfed GMC Yukon. After the fire was extinguished the charred remains of an unidentified adult female were located in the cargo area.
