On September 7, 2021, Brooks County Sheriff's personnel responded to a vehicle rollover in the area of U.S. Expressway 281, in the vicinity of Encino, Brooks County, Texas. Upon arrival, Deputies found a group of people had crossed from west to east on the expressway, and that an adult Hispanic female had been struck by a vehicle. The decedent was identified as Jesselyn Sofia Aguino Flores, from El Salvador.
