The decedent was homeless and lived in Lafayette Park in Los Angeles. On the late night of 4/4/1987 the decedent was apparently cooking when her clothing caught fire. A neighbor saw the fire and called for assistance. The decedent was pronounced dead at scene on 4/5/1987.
