In the early morning hours of April 6, 2021, William Steven Mallahan, a resident of a group home in Washington, District of Columbia, was last seen alive by staff at approximately 5:00 a.m. Barely an hour later, staff members found him unresponsive, prompting them to call 911 immediately. Responders arrived at the scene, and subsequently, efforts to revive him were made. Unfortunately, those efforts did not succeed, and William Steven Mallahan was pronounced deceased.
