On August 19, 2021, the Whitman County Coroner's Office was alerted to the unresponsive condition of Michael Don Johnson, a resident of Pullman, Washington. This discovery followed a welfare check instigated by concerns from his acquaintances and neighbors who had not seen or heard from him in approximately two weeks.
