On January 6, 2017, the body of an unclaimed male identified as Richard Eugene Anderson was discovered in Knoxville, Tennessee. Despite efforts to locate and contact his family, they were unable to make the necessary funeral arrangements. As a result, Richard Eugene Anderson's remains were subject to a county-mandated cremation. His case is detailed in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System under Namus ID: UCP64956.
