In March 2019, the case of an unclaimed person in Honolulu, Hawaii, came to light with the discovery of the deceased body of Nancy Y.M. Pang, as cataloged under NamUs ID: UCP68563. Nancy, a longstanding resident of a local nursing facility since July 16, 2014, had entered hospice care on March 14, 2019, due to her declining health.
