On the evening of November 9, 2019, a security guard at Saint Vincent de Paul Village in downtown San Diego discovered an unresponsive male individual. The discovery prompted an immediate call to 911, summoning paramedics to the scene. Upon their arrival, the paramedics identified that the individual, later identified as Andrew Turner, had a weak pulse. Promptly, he was transported to the Scripps Mercy Hospital Emergency Department for further evaluation and necessary medical intervention.
