On July 24, 2015, authorities encountered an unidentified male who had collapsed in the hallway of his hotel room or apartment in El Centro, California. Despite efforts to save him, the individual, later identified as Charles Ray Roberts, succumbed to his condition at a nearby hospital. His death was recorded by the Imperial County Coroner's Office, which took charge of the investigation into his unexpected passing.
