On January 14, 1991, the body of an unidentified female was discovered in the Bronx, New York. This individual, later associated with the name Janice Dorothy Roy, was witnessed to have jumped from the Crotona Avenue overpass onto the westbound lanes of the Cross Bronx Expressway. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, and the woman was transported to Lincoln Hospital. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, she was unfortunately pronounced dead upon arrival.
