On March 6, 2006, the body of an unclaimed individual identified as Moses K. Kapukui was discovered in Hawaii. Despite efforts to ascertain further details about his life and any possible next of kin, Kapukui remained unclaimed, and the circumstances surrounding his death continue to be a case of interest. The identification was formalized within the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, where he was assigned the Namus ID: UCP708.
