On October 29, 2018, the remains of John Civitello were discovered. An unclaimed person, Civitello had been residing at Montowese Health Care Center in North Haven, Connecticut before his passing. Prior to his time at the care facility, he was originally a resident of Milford, Connecticut. Efforts to locate any surviving next of kin have been unsuccessful, leaving his case yet unresolved.
