On February 12, 2019, the body of Jack Curtiss, an unclaimed person, was discovered in his home in El Paso, Texas. Neighbors who had not seen or heard from Curtiss for an extended period grew concerned and called in a welfare check, leading to the unfortunate discovery. Curtiss, who was divorced, had lived in the residence since 1975, marking over four decades spent in the same home.
