In the city of Atlanta, Georgia, on April 22, 2019, the body of a 59-year-old black male, later identified as Robert Ervin, was discovered unresponsive on a city sidewalk. A passerby found him in this condition and summoned help, leading to his urgent transport to Grady Memorial Hospital. Despite the efforts of the emergency medical team, Ervin was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival in the hospital's emergency room.
