Any updates on this case?
On August 9, 2019, the body of 63-year-old William Marion Mitchell was discovered in a submerged vehicle in the Mississippi River, near the Greenbelt Park Boat Ramp in Memphis, Tennessee. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and despite ongoing investigations, authorities have yet to identify or locate any next of kin for Mr. Mitchell. His remains are slated to be transferred to the Shelby County Cemetery in the absence of any claimants.
