Rafael Lunares-Casey, a 79-year-old male, passed away on November 29, 2017, at Tacoma General Hospital from natural causes. Prior to his death, he had been a resident at the Avamere Heritage Rehab Nursing Home in Tacoma, Washington. Despite the standard procedures followed to locate relatives or next of kin, the Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office (PCMEO) was unable to identify or make contact with any family members.
