On July 21, 2007, the body of a man identified as Stephen W. Jones was discovered in Houston, Texas. The details surrounding the recovery of his body remain sparse, but it is known that after being found, he was transported to a nearby hospital where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.

Efforts to further identify and claim him were undertaken by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, the agency responsible for handling his case. The agency assigned the case number ML07-245...
