In the summer of 2013, a heartbreaking discovery was made in Atlanta, Georgia, as the body of Lynda Baker was found. On July 8th of that year, Ms. Baker, a homeless woman, was located deceased inside a makeshift shack. Her body was discovered by a concerned pastor who had known her and regularly checked on her wellbeing. The conditions of her death brought attention to the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness and the often unnoticed tragedies within that community.
