On December 8, 2016, the body of a man identified as Michael-Lee Ree was discovered at a Stage Stop parking lot in East Ada County. Ree, a long-haul trucker, was located in the sleeper cab of his truck after having been deceased for several days. Investigations revealed that Ree had a history of cardiac issues, which might have played a role in his untimely demise. His death has been recorded under NamUs ID: UCP3432 by the Ada County Coroner's Office, which is in charge of the ongoing case.
