On April 24, 2017, the body of Richard Alef Eiler was discovered in the parking lot of the Marriott Hotel in Boise, Idaho. The circumstances of his death were later investigated by the Ada County Coroner's Office. The official cause of death was determined to be an aortic dissection, a serious condition where the inner layer of the aorta tears and blood surges through, causing the inner and middle layers to split, which can be fatal if not immediately treated.
