On February 6, 2026, the body of 67-year-old James Major Stewart was discovered in Tacoma, Washington. Mr. Stewart was found deceased in his vehicle, the result of natural causes. Despite exhaustive efforts, the Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office was unable to identify or locate any family members or friends who could assume responsibility for Mr. Stewart's remains.
