On March 7, 2026, the body of Paul James Minar, an unclaimed individual, was discovered in Kapolei, Hawaii. Mr. Minar was found unresponsive in his bed at a care home, and unfortunately, resuscitative efforts were unsuccessful, resulting in his death being pronounced at the scene. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately taken under the jurisdiction of the Department of the Medical Examiner in Honolulu, an indication that the case warranted an official investigation.
