On July 3, 2017, the Boise Police Department conducted a welfare check at an apartment in downtown Boise, Idaho, after neighbors reported not seeing the resident as usual and a foul odor emanating from the unit. Inside, they discovered the body of Larry Biggs, a male who lived alone. Following the discovery, the Ada County Coroner's Office got involved to carry out further investigations.
