Alfred J. Hixon, a 93‑year‑old man from Brockton, Massachusetts, was discovered unresponsive in his residence on December 3, 2025. According to the reporting officer, a wellbeing check was initiated by the landlord after Mr. Hixon had not been seen for approximately 48 hours. Using a key to enter the home, the landlord found him in his bed, unresponsive and not breathing. Emergency services were immediately contacted, and both police and EMS arrived on the scene.
