On September 13, 2025, authorities in Los Angeles responded to a welfare check request concerning Carol Ann Pryor, who had not been seen by her neighbor for approximately two days. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department arrived at her residence and, upon finding the home locked, forced entry to ensure her safety.
